Yeah the main reason for following social distancing and hand-washing protocols is to protect everybody else rather than yourself (and in doing so, protect yourself), which is something that doesn't seem to be getting though to a lot of people. And it only takes one to cause an emergency (such as happened in South Korea where one patient was responsible for knowingly infecting thousands).
