Shiny things!

I’ve been promising to do this for a while, and I keep making jewellery and taking pictures of it, and now there are quite a lot of pictures and I might have to put them into a couple of posts. It took me a couple of goes to work out that you can’t take pictures of jewellery with the flash on, and even so I am really not that good a photographer. Also the display neck I am using is quite small, so the necklaces look much longer than they actually are.

Having said that, stuff below the cut.

I bought a random box of beads and found these in it:

And there’s some earrings to go with this one:

I should have taken a close up of these beads – they are very cool orangey-red wooden beads with swirly gold patterns on them

 

I bought a random jar of blue beads years ago, and discovered it while I was looking for something else. It turned out to have these cool blue leaves in, from which I made this bracelet:

This is what I made with the rest of the blue beads:

This is made of jade chips. I have become a big fan of the semi-precious stones. So many lovely, lovely things….
