Sick and awake
Feb. 13th, 2009 11:57 pmOkay, so it's late and I'm supposed to be sleeping because I'm sick. But I'm awake, so I thought I'd have a go at this Live Journal thing. I have a pretty poor track record with diaries so I don't hold out much hope for regular ongoing entries. If I wasn't sick I probably wouldn't even be getting this far.
Did I mention I was sick? I have a respiratory tract infection, which is not a lot of fun, and requires a lot of rest. I would be asleep if it wasn't for the party next door, and the drunken phone call from my brother-in-law, and the baby waking up (which may or may not be related to the first two).
Actually the neighbours' party has pretty much settled down now. They have a fifteen year old who has had three parties now since New Year, but they don't really give me much cause for complaint. Her choice in music is not too dire and they usually go quiet around midnight.
So what else is going on? Well the other day the Baronial Council approved my proposal to run an Elizabethan ball in conjunction with the Baron's championship. Today I realised I may be going to Canberra for three or four days before one of the proposed dates. Possible slight problem there. Still, it's only a maybe at the moment, and only a possible date.
Andy has made me a Milo. Isn't he lovely? My brain hurts so now I think I will drink my Milo and go to sleep. This is the theory anyway.
