My lungs feel like a warzone, and the antibiotics I got for the tonsillitis seem to be doing diddly squat to help.

I wouldn't mind these respiratory tract infections so much (I don't mind the endless coughing, or my throat tasting like there are goats living in it, and I can definitely handle an excuse to lie around all limp and enervated like a consumptive Victorian poet), except for the continuous headache that seems to go with them. I hate headaches. And I have found that lying around and taking a lot of painkillers also causes me to have headaches, so it can become very hard, towards the end of the thing, to tell where the chicken ends and the egg begins, as it were.

But currently my head is, thankfully, no longer feeling like my brain is trying to squeeze out through my eyebrows (there are no holes there stupid brain!) and I am moving on to the part where it just feels like my lungs have been pushed through chicken wire.

But I am eating tomato and lentil soup, and that seems to be helping a little bit.
