Back...

...obviously. I had a fairly productive trip and went out with people every night, which was good, but meant I didn't have as much time to myself as I usually do on trips away. I would have loved to find some time to visit the Impressionists exhibition at the National Gallery while I was there. Everyone was raving about it, but alas there was no time.

I took yesterday off, which was good, because I was pretty tired, and I probably wouldn't have gotten much done at work anyway. And today Andy made ginger beer (he started a ginger beer plant last week before I went away). It seems a little bit watery, but I suppose we shall see in a week when it is supposedly ready to drink. I also made mint jelly, which tastes really good, but I am a bit worried it has too much pectin in it, and it will end up a bit chewy. Still, we shall see. Since this was relatively easy and worked so well I might have a go at basil jelly too, as we have masses of it at the moment.
