...if they don't stop rattling around and go to sleep.
My mother often tells this anecdote, about how my sister was so accident-prone when she was a baby, that when she took her to visit her parents her father asked if my dad had been beating the baby, she had so many bruises. This must be where Danger Baby gets it from.
This week he has had: three or four bruises on each shin; a collection of bruises forming a three inch streak down one thigh; two bruises on his shoulder, two bruises on his hip/bum, a graze on his ankle, knee and elbow, and two scratches on his face.
Jaw is still bugging me. Once it pops out it tends to be unstable for a while and it popped out last night (serves me right for eating toffee) and again this afternoon while I was eating an apple.
I am getting the itch to cut out some fabric. Really I should finish the other two things I have on the go at the moment (well the zillion things I have on the go at the moment but there are two main ones). These being the corset (I am slowly slowly sewing the leather binding on - slowly because it provoked my RSI) and a new 15th century kirtle to go with a new houppelande I made quite some time ago. However, there is this itch. I have a few different possible projects on my mind. One, which would hopefully be fairly quick and easy, is a Breughel-esque sort of lower class Tudor gown. Then I have the mind to make something flashy. I have been thinking for a while about making a new late 15th century/early Tudor dress, and have some nice brown/burgundy wool with that idea's name on it. But then I have some red/black shot silk that would make something nice and Italian, or possibly the 1580's French gown I hav been thinking about for a long long time (and with which could be worn the corset).
I have also been looking at recipe books lately and thinking about feast ideas. Clearly I have too much thinking time at the moment (if only I had the doing time to match).
