The problem of being extremely focussed

Up until about 5:45 my buses home run express up the Obahn direct from the city. I usually try to catch one of these because after this my buses only run from Tea Tree Plaza Interchange, and I have to get some random Obahn bus to the Plaza, and then change to my bus.

Trying to do this is usually  bad idea, because I invariably read on the bus on the way home. And I invariably get very caught up in what I'm reading, and don't notice when we get to the plaza. Last time I did this, it was not too much of a problem because I noticed fairly quickly that I was still on the wrong bus and got off at a stop just outside the Interchange and walked back to it. Tonight I got on a bus that went express to Golden Grove from the plaza.

Aaaaargh!

It looks like when I booked our flights for going away on Monday I put Erin's birthdate in as being in 2011, not 2001. Virgin seems to have interpreted this as meaning she was an infant and didn't need a seat. Now I need to try and get a seat for her on the same flight as us! And we will probably have to pay extra for it, as it looks like they are currently only charging us for four seats.

Fortunately Quantas, with whom we are flying home, seem to have taken my request for two adults' and three childrens' seats literally.
