Need yoga...

I feel like I'm in a bit of a yoga drought at the moment. I had no yoga classes last week, because Monday was a public holiday (so my Monday class was not on) and my Thursday classes are not on during school holidays. No Thursday yoga this week either for the same reason. And no yoga at all next week either because I will be in Canberra the whole week. I will just have to beef up my home practice, which has slipped a lot lately, and which I have been trying to remedy (with mixed success). No yoga makes Angharad cranky...

Also today is our wedding anniversary. Fourteen years - who'd have thunk it? This year at least we both remembered. Last year neither of us did until lunchtime. Part of the trouble is that we picked dates that are like

And now, the answer to the question you have all been asking yourself for years - are you greener than a Dutch person?

Somehow I think that vegetarianism still has less of a carbon footprint. It still takes less resources to grow some lentils than to grow a person (even if you only ate vegetarians, and who wants vegetarians when you could have finest steak-fed Soylent Green?).

What puzzles me is that my carbon footprint went up, when I added in my public transport use. I think we use more public transport and less private transport than the average Australian, but possibly just more transport overall than the average Dutch person (I understand they use bicycles a lot).

I ended up neutral, but what was dragging me down was food and transport.
