I'm reading The Last Unicorn again, and totally remembering why I love this book so much...now if only I can find a copy of the Innkeeper's Song....

Somehow I suspect that once a week is going to become the standard for updating for a little while, but the good news is that I am finally starting to feel like a normal human being after about two and half weeks of being sick. Let's hope that the last of that sort of thing for a while. I think the next couple of months are going to be much too busy for illness.

Newcomer's preparation is coming along nicely. I have more or less finalised the menu. I'm not going to tell you what it is. You'll have to come along and find out! I've also been looking for halls for the Ball, and thinking about the menu. This latter requires a bit more work than is usual for me, because Elizabethan food is quite a bit different from mediaeval food, and is not my area of expertise. There's a lot to organise in the next couple of weeks so that I can actually start advertising the event.

Oh, and them next door are having another party this Friday apparently :-)

Hi! Peter is doing a mild revision on that book before Conlan Press brings it back into print in a new hardcover. Might happen before the end of the year. More likely sometime early in 2010.

Excellent! Of course, God only knows when that will translate to it being here in Australia, but I guess that it what Amazon is for....:-)
