The universe is conspiring against me...

Why else would it always rain on Saturdays and never on Sundays (I swear this has been the weather pattern for the last six weeks)? The difficulty with this being, that I wash on Saturdays, usually at least three loads (if kids are good for anything it's making laundry), and it's impossible to get that much washing dry if you can't hang it outside. Washing on Sundays is no good, because that is my sleep-in day, and I'm not generally up in time to do washing. I washed yesterday and some of the stuff is still damp now.

Ah, City of Death, the Dr Who episode where Lalla Ward and Tom Baker get to swan around Paris making googly eyes at each other....
