Have they had a gazillion complaints yet from parents I wonder? You know the one I mean - the close up of people's backsides wriggling about while someone croons 'bum bum de bum bum bum'. It's quite innocuous and harmless, unless you have small children. Mine think it's utterly hilarious. They roll on the floor laughing. Even Ashwyn, though he's probably just doing it because the other two are. Then all we get out them for the rest of the night is 'bum bum bum bum bum'. And Liam already gets into trouble at kindy for that sort of thing.
And while I'm on the subject of things that were obviously designed by people who don't have kids, what is with stuff inside breakfast cereals these days? When I was a kid, if they were putting a free piece of cheap junk in the breakfast cereal, they put it in every box. Now they only put them in one in two or one in three boxes. This doesn't reduce the nag factor because kids don't really understand that the thing which is plastered all over the box is not actually in the box. I can see the reasoning of the company - same incentive for half the outlay - but they aren't the ones trying to explain probability theory to four year olds.
Meanwhile, apparently physicists are the smartest people in the world (or at least in the US, which is quite a different proposition). Not that I'm boasting or anything :-). You'd think that would make it easy to explain probability theory to a four year old....
