Things that make you go WTF....

So I nipped out of the office at lunchtime today to go to the chemist, and realised I'd forgotten I was going to get my parents some chocolatey type things for Easter, so I went to Haigs - the main shop on Beehive Corner. The shop was full - literally completely full of people, like four deep all along the counter - and there was a security guard at the door who wasn't letting anyone in until someone came out. I thought maybe not, and went elsewhere.

And then there's this: tasty?

I'm not surprised - I did my shopping at 8am and Woolies was ridiculously busy. People always go insane near long weekends, as if the stores will never open again.

Also, I keep seeing pictures of Diet Coke with Bacon, so...

I know - it's bizarre. In Canberra a public holiday meant that the supermarket was only open from 8am til 6pm instead of 7am til 4am as per usual. But still the day before it would be packed.
