I am a creature of routine in many ways and my Friday night ritual/routine for a long time now has been to spend a couple of hours in the bath with a trashy book, some chocolate and occasionally candles. I am a big fan of Lush smelly things, and last night I used one of their bath bombs - it was fully of glitter. I am still glittery. Because I rubbed off glitter on the towels and the bedsheets Andy is now glittery too. Just call him Edward....
In other news I found out on Friday that work are sending me to Indonesia for a week in two weeks time. Because we are Commonwealth public servants if we travel overseas for work we have to do so on a government passport, which is fine because both of mine expired about five years ago, and I think it would be pushing it to get new ones in two weeks. However, I have a sneaking suspicion that I'm going to have to provide a certain amount of identification to get the government passport, and there's a small problem with that. I have lost our marriage certificate (the problem being that I can prove who I am via my birth certificate, but since I use my married name I also have to prove that I'm married). I lost it just after we moved to Canberra, and since I've long since done all the things that need identification (bank accounts, jobs, medicare cards etc) I've never really needed it.
Hey, look at that - you can get a new one express from the Registry office, but ouch, it costs a bit!
